President Ruto and Deputy President Visit Huduma Digital Centre in Runyenjes, Embu County

As part of the ongoing 5-day development tour of the Mt. Kenya region, H.E. President Dr. William Ruto and Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua* conducted an inspection of the upcoming Huduma Digital Centre in Runyenjes, Embu County.

The delegation was led by Deputy Head of Public Service Mr. Amos Gathecha, ndc (K) and Huduma Kenya CEO Mr. Ben Kai Chilumo.

Also in attendance were Embu Governor Hon. Cecily Mbarire, MGH, Runyenjes MP Hon. Eric Muchangi, and Mr. James Tembur, MBS, Commandant General, NYS, among other leaders.

Once operational, the Huduma Digital Centre will provide access to over 20 key government services and create employment opportunities for youth through the digital hub.
