Huduma Mashinani Brings Government Services Closer to Residents of Nzaui Sub-County
On 21st January, 2026, Huduma Centre Makueni successfully conducted Day 8 of the Huduma Mashinani outreach programme at Matiliku Chief’s Office, Nzaui Sub-County, in partnership with the County Government of Makueni and the National Government Administration Officers (NGAO) team led by the Deputy County Commissioner, Nzaui Sub-County. The exercise brought essential government services closer to the people, serving a total of 1,573 residents. Services provided included national registration, civil registration (births and deaths), police abstracts, Social Health Authority (SHA) registration, NTSA, IEBC services, pensions, HELB, NSSF, KRA, health services, affordable housing registration, and customer care support, among others. The initiative underscores Huduma Kenya’s commitment to inclusive, citizen-centred service delivery by reducing travel costs and improving access to government services at the grassroots. Huduma Centre Makueni extends special appreciation to DCC Nzaui Sub-County Mr. Solomon Papai, the NGAO team, and the County administration led by the CEC for Gender, Children, Sports and Social Services, Eng. Sebastian Kyoni, for their strong mobilization, collaboration and support that contributed to the success of the outreach.
